Hi!
I have gone through every post on this thread and found similar problems to mine, but no solution that worked for me...
When I launch EQ2MAP updater (ver. 0.97 Beta) I get this:
Error Getting File List:
The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to the remote server.
I am behind a ISA2004 firewall. I have tried to follow the xml-link like some post mentioned and I get a new window with the XML-coding. If I choose "save target as", I can download the file.
I have updated to .NET framework latest beta. I have closed XP firewall.
Here comes the funny part:
In the interface there is a webpage that cannot be displayed, and when refreshing it still don't show up, so I followed the link to
http://maps.eq2interface.com/updates.html in my browser and the page showed up as normal. Now when I refresh the page in the interface it showes up, but when I close the updater and restarts it same thing all over....
I have checked the logs in ISA and only get the WinSock 1745 that is not allowed, no change if I enables it. Nothing else seems to be blocked.
Where exactly is the updater going when you press the "Update"-button? i would like to check if I can get a manual connection there.
Any suggestions?
I am now using the manual map, but I would like the updates to work too.
