First issue is in effect with the default UI. If that's different, its a SOE change/bug.
Second issue, I've confirmed my Examine Item windows are showing everything visible in the default UI. The new "Stats" for food and drink are listed in the description. They are not separatet line items or numerical.

The symptoms you describe sound like a bad map install. Run the EQ2MAp auto-updater (there's a link in the first post of this thread). Then download and install 3.3.

This is likely the result of a missing or corupt file. Try running the EQ2MAP auto-updater, then download and install 3.3. If that doesn't fix it, trash the Fetish directory entirely, re-run auto-updater and reinstall 3.3.
