Sorry I missed the tranparent window part
I was wondering if you did experiment scaling down the window a bit more...? to take a little bit less space...
My last comment is that I did not find how to configure the 2 modes you're mentioning - I use the default one where the window vanishes after selecting the emote...I read the README again and am not seeing how you configure the other mode...

For the mode that does not Auto-Hide, you would need to download the Add-On patch file, and replace the file you have with the non-auto hide version you download. Its a simple cut and past, to overwrite the one you have.
As far as making the window smaller.
There is a good chane that I'll do this in the future. Yes.
The window is quite large! I play in 1600x1200, but made the window what I felt would be a good size for 1280x1024 to pop into the middle of the screen.
The background can be made transparent. So I didn't think it would bother people much to have it that size. I wanted it to be able to be quickly read and hit the emote and then window be gone, make it as smooth as possible.
it seems there are quite a few people that prefer to have the window up, and not blown away, so I may create a 'mini' quick emotes that can be kept up all the time, but... the text would have to be really, really small! so therefore harder to read, and would make the whole process of selecting the emote longer.
Perhaps you should check out one of the alternatives.
Ger has a really nice one that has the emotes tabbed and combines the two windows so you don't have two that pop up all the time, he also has one that does not blow away when you do the emote!
That might be more for your style.
