Making colored chat text in EQ2 is easy:
1. You type your sentence out like this:
/gsay #FF0099Do #660033you #006666want #000066colored #FFFF66text?
2. Now go back and and add a backslash (\) before the
last pound symbol (#). As soon as you type the \ before #FFFF66text? , the #FFFF66 will disappear, and the word text will turn yellow. Work your way backwards through the sentence adding backslashes before pound symbols. This works for links as well.
