for the first two expansions, we usually had change files by now to start getting the UI's ready for launch...

For EoF we UI creators were in the beta to ensure a seemless launch for people not using default UI.

It's a week now from RoK launch and i havn't seen anything yet... anyone know what's going on? or is there no big UI changes so we don't need to worry?

Crafting interface is being changed according to EQ2Traders, and of course there'll be new zone maps. Anyone know of other NDA-cleared announcements?

The ui related changes need to come to the test stat, by this week. We need at least a week or so to mod the interfaces. 3 days wont cut it.

Unfortunately any and all UI changes (ie the files themself) are still under the NDA (which I'm guessing will go right up until beta ends as well).

The only thing I can think of would be to suggest to Rothgar to have the UI files exempted from the NDA so that they can be posted so folks can mod them.

Last year we were in fact aloud to mod about a week or 2 before nda was lifted, if i am correct.

You are correct, the NDA for the last beta was dropped a week before it went live. I'll shoot a email to SOE and see if anything can be done.

SOE has provided me with a number of Beta keys specifically for EQ2Interface authors. PM me if you are not currently in Beta and need a key to test your mods.

Since the suply of keys is limited, I will be giving priority to authors of complete sets and authors of mods I already know have changed on Beta. Please do not ask for a key if you do not fall into this category. I will be checking each requestor's mod list.
