Help with updater
 

Your instruction state: for auto updater

installation
run the download file, select and instation folder and press install.

What file?? ui or main eq2 file?

finally got it installed manually but couple of thing can;t type, chat windows work but I can;t chat. Also, how do i switch back grounds? Also when i try to run the updater I get the following message: Everquest2.exe not found please set your everquest 2 directory in the configuration first. How do I do that?

Re chatting: Either follow the installation instructions or check the FAQ on the chat window.

Re updater: erm, kinda hard to miss, not many options on the updater. Go Menu -> Configuration.

thanks for the response i finally got the updater working heh, forgot to update java. I'll check your fq regarding chat. yay god don't know what I would do if I couldn;t talk lol .

The chat window issue is my educationary measure to get people to read the instructions.

Why look for the answers ourselves when we can just ask someone else? :D:p

heh ok a couple more questions,

can i change the tradeskill window? Or can I make a request, for your next update I love the smaller tradeskill windows? I'm still stuck on changing the skins. And yes I read the instructions. Another thing what about eq2 maps can I add that as well? Ohh i dont want to start another thread will someone please answer. I love the ui by the way !! Looks great !!

You can use any tradeskill window you like. If you use the autoupdater just tell it not to update that file.

The skin packs are not compatible with Profit version 4 yet.

You can use the eq2map mod. Just use the installer after installing Profit.

kk thanks for the advise so don;t bother with the updater after i install the tradeskill window thats were i was messing up. so skins don't work with the updater yet? aww I wanted the purple one : ( Just loaded the maps and my favorite tradeskill window, it;s purfect. I tried it out on death toll tonight really really like this ui. Nice Nice job gm9
