Please with every ounce of sanity I have left im begging you ..can someone please make a different map UI like a smaller one, the one in game is so big and it is driving me crazy, you guys are so talented who do the creations and I keep watching for a new map but none other then the one with the cute pac man marker :P ( which I have btw ) ok thats all I wanted to ask for ..some things can just make your life more simple :P

The Tablets UI created just made a smaller one (inside the mod itsell). Dunno if you can download it yet, but check out that thread.

The map is very limited on what all you can do with it. We cannot change the dimensions of the maps themselves within that window (which is the only window that you can get you current location at (currently)). Tablets is probably the best we will get for now until we can muster some more information from SOE_Bobble.

I think the maps are on our hard drives.. He says they're encrypted.. The Icons and fog is sent down from the server..

Each map in the images/map folder is 342kb.. Broadband can handle that.. But a 56k modem only gets like 6kb a second (I think, been a while).. It would take like a whole minute to download a map that size..

Edit:
Chances are the missing maps are in the vpk file but are encrypted.. I'm sure sooner or later someone will be able to read the contents of those files..
