EQ2Interface - I don't have any group windows! :(

I don't have any group windows! :(

I just installed the ProfitUI and my group windows aren't there. I'm in a group, but no bars are showing up on screen.

What should I do?

Everything else seems to work fine? Did you try pressing ALT-G?

Are you grouped? The group window won't have anything visible until you're in a group. One trick is to use F10. That'll cycle the UI between normal, most windows having a black background, and no UI at all. The third isn't too useful, but the second's highly useful for finding "invisible" windows and doing positioning/sizing.

When you installed Profit UI did you import one of the ui layouts like ProfitUI_1024x768_eq2_uisettings.ini?

I don't recall. I didn't add anything extra other than what came with the base download. I followed the instructions, was there anyone download I needed to add?

All the window settings, locations, and chat channels are saved in a file called server_character_eq2_uisettings.ini. Go to your Everquest II folder and find this file for your character. Temporarily move it somewhere else as a backup.

Then follow this step of the installation instructions.

That should give you the normal location for the group window.

Also, there are four styles of group windows included in Profit. You can unzip any of them and overwrite your eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml file to try them out.
