Copy Righted Material
 

Are many of the ui's nwo copy righted, iv tried to load a few of them now, and keep geting a mesage that there copy righted, and after 40 days have to be registered and purchased or removed, is this true????

That error has nothing to do with UI's as that isn't even a function that can be done in the interface.

Sounds more like a program you are running in the background that is asking you to register? Or is it maybe your zip program that is decompressing the zipfile asking you to pay for the winzip program?

Just for informations' sake, though, yes UIs are in fact copyright protected, unless the author has specifically stated that they are releasing them as public domain. However, as Dolby has already said, the message you are getting has nothing to do with the UIs.

Ahh, that sounds more like what is going on here, thing is i never took this guys zip file, so why is it there, well thanks for the info,
And yah i under stand that the materials here are somones property, just seemd to me that it was as stated, belonging to teh designer, and what i was seing defnetly wasnt the designer, thanks agian explains alot, now to find a way to get that guys program off that i never asked for in the first place.

You had to of installed winzip it doesn't just install. Unless its not winzip in which case it was a self extrator. You can't unzip zip files without it or some version of it. And btw UI's are copyrighted in a sense but SoE says we can't sell them if I remember the EULA correctly. May have changed since eq1 though haven't done much reading.
