Vista Help
Hi,
I am a new player to EQ2 and was told how wonderful the map add on is. I followed the directions until I came to the part to add an ini file. Vista is not allowing me to do this and I have not found a workaround to make it work. I would appreciate any advice or alternate instructions for downloading with Vista. Thanks! |

I use vista but I just downloaded and used the auto installing version of EQ2 maps. But as for adding a file, sounds like you may not have admin rights on that vista account, that is the first thing I would check |
You also might want to try turning off User Account Controls.
Start, Control Panel, User Accounts. Toggle the Off. |
