EQ2 map enhancement?
 

I may be shooting WAY over what is possible...but I had an idea.

EQ2i.com, born of the Guk server, is an amazingly handy wiki source. I use it practically all the time, and I know several others do, too.

I was wondering if Points of Interest could somehow be tied to the Quest Helper journal, with the PoI locs supplied through EQ2i.com. I know this would require a LOT of cooperation from folks at EQ2i (to include these things from their wiki), and would likely require a LOT more updating to remain up-to-date, but it seems like it would be at least possible.

Is this possible? It wouldn't have to work for EVERY quest, but the major ones would certainly benefit from having their own PoI set with them, especially if they were linked from such a great system.

I find this to be an excellent idea.

Nope, sorry the map window doesn't work like that. At best you could have it load a webpage in the browser window with a map and the poi's for that quest but it wont have your location info and party member locs.
