Search box in eq maps

How hard would it be to add a search bar in the eq maps program. That way you could type in a npc name, location, etc and have that point on the map highlight ( with the little x) and you can create path.

If memory serves correctly (I haven't been able to play for the better part of a year), there should be a search string field on the upper edge of the map that you can enter a set of coordinates and have it marked on the map.

that may be, but if I had coordinants it wouldn't be a problem. I want to be able to search through the many points of interest that have been added by the EQ maps program. Currently, I can click off all points except npc's and manually mouse over each dot until I find the one I am interested in, but it would be nice to type in that name and have the program find that dot for me.....I am very lazy ;0)

Being worked on internally (I think... it might just be an alphabetical listing of all POIs), should be ready eventually. :p Browser integration changed things up.

You could either:

1. Use the ingame browser to searth the EQ2MAP site for POIs and cords.

2. Try the following: Link

Yeah I was going to suggest my POI Finder mod which I just posted today. But it seems Florida beat me to it :p
