Error message relating to directx n eed help asap
 

I am so sorry but had no clue where to post this or to get help.I have just returned to eq2 and installed it onto my new computer but everytime i start it it shuts down saying something about direct x and not enough memory..Could someone please explain to me how i can fix this as i can't play until its worked out.

Download the latest version of Microsoft DirectX (google it) and see if that helps.

i just tried the latest version of direct x and i went and changed my virtual memory yet i am still being thrown out.Any help would really be appreciated.

How much actual memory (RAM) do you have?

What is your virtual memory set to?

Also, the exact error message would be helpful.
