Using Fetish map in another UI?

I can't find the fog removal option anywhere else, so I tried to put some files in my ui directory (well, I did a research with 'map' in Fetish directory and pasted it in my ui). Lauching the game again, i see the fog button, but nothing happens if i click on it...So what did I do wrong?
Thank you!

Download his separate 'map' release, which I believe was v6.3 or something like that and compare the files in that with his full Fetish-Nightfall and copy over those same 'newer' files to your custom ui directory.

Be sure to simply copy / paste the 2 lines in his eq2ui.xml to your custom eq2ui.xml in your custom directory if you're already using a custom UI.

Due to limitations with the code currently suplied by eq2maps, it is not possible to apply skins or plugins to the auto-updated EQ2Map file. Until that changes, there's no point in me updating the FetishMaps piece.

The Defog option was applied to the Nightfall set fairly recently and never made it into the FetishMaps piece. If your UI is based on the Fetish Framework, you may be able to copy the required files from Nightfall.
