IconBank and non-standard icons
 

i changed my hotbar to have some icons with rounded frames by placing the frame as an overlay over the icons (see attachment). with the recent changes and use of iconbanks i wonder if such would still be possible or are we forced to accept the hardcoded iconstyles?

Oh how cool :)

While you cannot insert anything into the icon bank, nothing stops you from adding a volume page with your frame overlay on top of the IconBank. :)
