UI that DOEST use frames???
 

I want a UI that allows me to resize and move around all my hotbars, player bar, party bars, etc.

Maybe Im missing something, or dont know how to adjust them, but I want a UI that is flexible in size and placement. Something clean.

Unlock your windows and you can move everything around.

Right click the window you want to move, and then click "unlock window" (if it says "lock window" then the window is already unlocked and moveable).

Theres no fixed HUD in EQ2 -- every window is moveable.

Hotbar size can be decreased by rightclick and hitting "Change icon size" and selecting a smaller size.

In general, windows as a whole aren't scalable in the game, they'd have to be modified to be made smaller.

I guess i will try again. When I right click I dont get any "Change Icon Size" with either the default interface or ThorUI.
For the UIs like Thor or Profit, I get frames with the chat box locked on the locked on the lower left.
When I right click to unlock and move, like I would with the default interface, I dont have the option.

Every custom UI I see is with the chat box at the lower left, and things seem to be in either an upper band or lower band on my screen, without the ability to unlock or move.

You'll only get "Change Icon Size" when clicking on a Hotbar. I'm not sure if every mod has it, or if its FetishNightfall specific.

Also, try going in Window Settings and uncheck "Locked" there.

Some UIs might (for some reason) try and prevent you from moving windows by coding it in. If you want to, try looking and the code and see if you can find "UserMoveable='false'" in the windows that you can't seem to move.

The default is generally like you said -- chat at the bottom left, most stuff on the top.

Which UI are you really having trouble with? Is it ProfitUI or ThorUI, or another perhaps?

EDIT: One last thing. You can't always move windows by just anywhere. Most windows you have to drag the title bar in order to move them. Also, some windows might have "Click-through enabled" in the WindowSettings: uncheck that box so that its disabled and you should be able to move those windows then.

Thanks much for all the information. I didnt know about all of this stuff. I was using ThorUI, but was thinking of trying Fetish.
