Need Help with Vert
 

Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble with this as well. I get vert loaded, adjust all the windows, the hotbutttons, movement keys, & what not. Then if I log out or restart EQ, the Vert loads again, with the hotbuttons in the same location, along with the chat windows being where I left them. The problem is, the EQ window that I love is missing, & my custom settings, such as, movement keys, target settings, mouse settings etc. have reset to the default EQ settings.

I use the E. D.S.F for movement instead of the arrows, so that is something that changes. Secondly, is the hotbuttons, I use the number pad for hotbutton input, it too has also reset, with the number 8, 2, 4 & 6 being the movement keys.

Perhaps this is a problem with the way I installed the UI. I LOVE Vert, I used it in EQ1 forever, and I really want to get it working in EQ2!! Please Hellp!!

Did you make one of your settings files read_only perhaps?

It seems like something is preventing it from being saved. In the past making your settings read_only was useful when they could get bugged, but if it is read_only then you won't be able to save your settings until you change it back to writable.

no the files not read only... I have another friend who is trying to install another UI and the same problem is happening.. looking into it to try and see if sony's changed something or if there's a problem with the UI.
