can anyone tell me which file the macro information you create when you make a new macro ingame is? And if it is possible to edit them while not ingame..

Thanks :)

macros are not saved in a file. i believe they are stored server-side, so your macros are accesible regardless of which computer you use to log in to eq2

But you can store macros on your disk in various ways. For example, they will be saved when using /savehotkeys. I would recommend however to have your macro use /dofilecommands <filename>. Just place the macro proper into the file called <filename> and you can easiy edit it outside of the game or share it between alts. The added benefit is that those macros can be much longer than what the ingame editor allows.

Cool. Thanks /do_file_commands works great.

One more question. How can I put a pause inbetween the commands?

Thanks

Thats something many macro users found missing in EQ2. As far as I know, it cannot be done.

Yeah, there is no 'pause' command.

I suppose you could theoretically create some kind of a pause by inserting a lot of a single comand over and over again (something not noticeable), thus causing the game to have to do all of that... but in my experience creating a delay in that way is wildly variable in time and effect.
