Combining your bags??

How would one make a UI that when you open all bags it opens them into ether one window or into a tab like view where each tab would show items in that bag/bag slot from your inventory ? but still allowing you to open each bag on its oun if u wanted to.

In short it can't be done. Nope not even a little.

If you want all of your open bags to look like one window, just use one of the many borderless, title bar free bag mods available and set your bags up right next to each other so all the slots line up, giving the illusion of an all-in-one inventory window.

But that just takes too much work! :(

If only the EQ2 Interface gave as much freedom as the WoW Interface. Oh the things that would be possible.

"Oh the things that would be possible"

Indeed. There'd be a lot more good things, but there would also be a much greater capability for the bad -- exploits and such.

SOE chose the safe but limited route. Blizzard chose the open but exposted route. Two different companies, two different games... it's pretty much pointless to say "But if Game X had the features of Game Y"

As for it being too much work... the game remembers your bag positions. So if you set it up once like that, you should be pretty much set.
