Uhh heh uhh Test Server changes...
Hey umm I would like to draw your attention to the test server default interface...
Please load it up and take a look at it when you get a chance. ThorUI is hosed on Test. I was working to track down what's going on and I came across this when I loaded up the default in the EQ2UIBuilder... Tell me this isn't intentional... please... http://thor.thorsparks.com/stuff/wtf.jpg ![]() |
I wish I could, but had to reformat my HD a bit back and can't bring myself to re-patch Test with my slow connection:(
What does the actual file look like? The junk text looks like namespace tags but with out looking at the actual code I can't tell one way or the other. |
Yeah I had planned to tell you guys about this tomarrow when I post the compare.
I noticed this when i did a compare when lu27a was patched to the test server and shot SOE_Bobble an email. He said there will be a new version of the uibuilder coming down the pipe soon AND the numbers that look like an md5sum are basically localization tracking numbers. You can either use the numbers or ignore them, doesnt matter. Sorry I couldnt respond sooner, was at Irish Fest (in Milwaukee, WI) all day/night. |
Mmmm Irish Fest... FUN!
Thanks for the info! Location tracking sounds like it may resolve some of the "Window Placement File" issues. That would be very nice indeed. I hope we get some time to play with this before it hits live though. Otherwise (if it's required) we may be in trouble on the interface update front. Thanks again Dolby! |
unfortunately it's localization, not location. :)

I take it i must have missed something?
I do understand he stated localization and I replied as location but I fail to see the difference when dealing with the subject at hand. Please elaborate :) Quote:

Ah, never mind then, I thought you had misread.
I thought you referred to the problems with window placement sometimes not correctly being saved to the window placement file or windows becoming "lost", so I thought your comment about "location tracking" was meant regarding this. I'm not aware of any localization issues with the file. |
