Can't uinstall completely.
Well, I followed all your troubleshooting instructions, I deleted the eq2.ini files after uinstalling THORUI and I still have elements of ThorUI in my computer...How the heck do I get rid of it?
I am in an unfortunate situation as EQ2 was free to me through a friend at Blizz and so I am not even sure I can reinstall it at this point....I may have to run down and buy a copy to do so. Are there other files I might look for? I don't know EQ2 well enough to do this stuff like I do in WOW. Thank you. My sound is still off and can't get it on. It started the moment I installed this UI. It may not intentionally alter sounds but for whatever reason it did to me. thank you for any help. Cairenn, if you are reading, I could sure use some help if Faetyl is too busy (i totally understand) |
Update: Found some other Thorui.ini type files in my eq2 folder and deleted but still have target frame and some other elements
Anyway to do as in WOW and delete the wtf and wdb but Im sure its called something else here..... |
Heh nothing like posting answers to myself.
Anyway, fixed it. Was a setting THORUI put in with its custom set up on speaker set ups. Should be surround and wasn't. I had clicked one of its custom set ups and I guess that changed my speaker set up. Might keep a note of this for others, going to reinstall now. Finally got rid of all elements of it too, was not easy! But I like the UI so going again to see if I can now get it working right. |
Fixed, reinstalling now.
