Sound Issue, Please Help :)

I installed ThorUI today and I really like it so far. Other than, I can't seem to get my horse galloping and myself talking to come up as sounds. I can hear others, not my own. Can't hear my spells casting either.

I looked for this setting but can't find it, can anyone tell me?

Also, I installed ThorUI and don't see my EQ2maps anymore, I used automap, do I need to reinstall it?

Thanks again, so far so good on everything else, but the sounds....I really need those.

Noone knows how to fix this? Bah, really didn't want to un install this UI but don't like it without my sound for my character .

Also, what about eq2maps?

Thank you...

ThorUI doesn't do anything to sound other than adjust the volume from Mute to 50% to 100%...
Sound options are saved in a file that is not modified by ThorUI in any way.
Sound options can be found in game by pressing (alt-o) then click on sound, then general and modify the sounds there...

As for eq2map
ThorUI is specifically designed to used eq2map updater and you may setup ThorUI to automatically launch eq2map.
The main ThorUI instructions walk you through this and eq2map updater also has instructions on what's needed when switching between interfaces.
But to sum it up... (briefly without typing out the instructions all over here)
Change the ThorUI options to launch eq2map updater as a third party program after ThorUI has updated. Change the eq2map updater options to identify thorui as your current UI.
That's it.

Full instructions are on the same forum where you posted if needed.

The sound went off when I installed the UI, and sound options do nothing to fix it.

I'll try Sony tech but they will probably say becuase I have a custom UI and it started when I installed it to uninstall , something I didn't want to do, but I guess I have no choice.

:(

Thanks for your response, however.

I will try to find here how to uninstall properly. Perhaps a fresh reinstall will help this.

Ok, let me try to put it a better way.

Since I installed this my personal sounds no longer work. It may not purposely alter these things but for some reason it did, either that...or there is a switch I'm missing.

Can anyone who knows EQ2 a little better than I tell me where I might find the option?

It is to turn off/on sounds like your horses hooves or your self casting a spell etc.

It is NOT under SOUND, I had already checked before you posted back to me, I guess should have said that.

I have a lot of experience with WOW UI's in fact, had my own compilation.
However, EQ2 is a new animal to me.

I'd appreciate help as this really breaks the game for me.

Thank you.

FIXED, sound issue was a speaker setting that is changed when you select one of Thor's custom UI set ups in game. No biggy but sure was a pain to figure out!

Thanks. Reinstalling now

Id delete all these but appears I can only edit.
