Attention Mappers: New Inkscape Version Avalible (0.44)
 
When I am mapping, I live and die by Inkscape for cleaning up my maps. There is a great new version available, Downloadable from the main page:

Major New Features:

I'm personally stoked about the Layers dialog. I frequently use the layers feature for multi-level maps and the old drop-down was a PITA to use.

Yeah the layer dialog will be nice! Thanks for the heads up on this. Writing a new mapping tutorial using your style and I'll make sure to use the new version.

I look forward to that.. i know how to do the /loc and make a quick map in inkscape, but not some of the other thing.
