Compass Piece?
 

Anyone have a compass piece as a stand alone?

I mean a modded one. I know there is one that adds the zone. Maybe another with other colors in the lettering. Please Please.

Can someone please help with this. I have tried to mess with the builder, but to be honest I cannot devote the time needed to learn.

What I am looking for is a bright blue compass. I am using the Saintsinner Gemstone series UI. Downloaded here. Unfortunately the compass lettering is too dark and I cannot see the letter well.

heya vampiro, I have no idea if this works, but I tried to recolor the compass to your liking, the north N is green and the others are white lemme know if it works..

just extract to your images folder in your gemstone directory...

Compass doesn't work...=(

I extracted it to my images folder and it still displays the old compass.

Any ideas?

your not supposed to put in in your images folder....sorta
you need to put it in a folder in

C:\program files\sony everquest II\ui\whatever\images

then make a text file in

C:\program files\sony everquest II\

called eq2.ini that contains:

The compass.dds file isn't used, the actual compass is in window_elements_generic.dds

Here's a version of the Gemstone Blue file with the compass lettering lightened.

good thing I know that also heh, the other compass looked really weird, a perfect circle hehe
