eq2ui_TooltipStyles - font size change...
 

Howdy ya'll,

I'm a visually disabled gamer and have modified Fetish with larger fonts. For the most part everything is fine and readable at 24/30 point using Gyula30 or Zaf24... I have been trying to edit the actual mouseovers in the game to a larger font size. The best I can see is the file "eq2ui_TooltipStyles.xml" changes it. Whenever I edit this file and launch eq2 it overwrites my change everytime. I have deleted the file only to have it recreate itself (after moving it to my mod folder) and also have set it to read-only and still having it changed. Does anyone know how to make the actual mouseover/tooltip fonts bigger? Thanks in advance. It would make gameplay MUCH better for me.

I'm pretty sure the font size on the tooltips are directly controlled by the resolution in which you play. So, in order to get the font size bigger on these, you will have to play on a smaller resolution (or is it 'bigger'? I can never remember which one it is :p -- on the 800x600 end is what I mean).

o O ( I could be wrong, though. It has been known to happen on a rare occasion :p )

dawge, I noticed while I was ingame the other night looking through the options settings that the tooltip font size can be changed from within options.

Very helpfully now that I am in work I have forgotten exactly which setting and where in options but if you have look around in the display settings options somewhere I can assure you that you will find what you are lookiing for.

I played around with it and on the max setting the tooltip was taking up a good 25% of my screen, it was massive :D
