Fetish Eliteui changing chars problem/Camp
 

Hello i am usuing the ui Elite and loving it but am having trouble with something.When you camp there is the option to just go straight to your character without having to come back out to that other screen..i love this idea as it would save so much time but i can't get it to work and i have no clue how to change it.I want to be able to have my characters names and servers in that part so i can just click on one and swap to that char,but i have no clue how to make this so.Hopefully someone will unerstand what im talking about and have a solution..Sorry i am very new to uis and not very good with the proper jargon.Thankyou

There are instructions for editing that in the enclosed readme. Please try that, if you are still having troubles please post in the support thread for EliteUI and I'd be happy to help you out as needed. Thanks! =]

Cant find elite thread/bigger problem after edit for chars
 

Hi sorry but i am unsure where the actual elite thread is as i have found questions regarding this ui in a few different categories.I found what you were talking about though so i went in and changed character to my name and server to runnyeye..which is what i think i was suppose to do.Thats when it got real bad,soon as logging in to the game eq2 crashes completely after i did that.I had not changed or added anything else and as soon as put back the original file it stopped crashing.Any help would be appreciated.

In order to get this function to work, you will need to modify the eq2ui_mainhud_shutdown.xml file for your UI.

Instructions on how to properly do so can be found here.

You can also use the command /camp charname now. Thay added that in recently.

I think i will try this solution as so far whenever i touch something in this i ruin it.So thankyou all for the answers especially the easy command camp one i had no clue about.
