ui elements on the logitech g15 keyboard lcd
 

this is something i've been thinking about lately. it possible to design the graphics for some of the ui pieces such as health ,money, weight, exp bars ect. that will display on the keyboard's lcf display. but this issue that i run into is how does the xml files in the ui folder get thier update info from the game? if anyone knows this. i could easly get some working ui elements to upload for those that are using the g15 gamming keyboard. that one could remove or hide the health , xp bars from thier on screen ui and have it dispalyed instead onthe keyboards lcd screen. also has anyone else tried somethis like this using the g15 keyboard??

I got the Logitech G15 Keyboard for Christmas and the lcd screen is pretty much useless unless i play the 2 terrable games it automaticaly works with.

there is alot of information at the sight if i remember right they even have tutorials. I also know that there are web sites and forums dedicated to this keyboard and modding the screen.

Impossible without violating the no 3rd-party apps clause in the ToS/etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if they add support soon. It takes minimal work with all the information and resources they have, and some MMOG's have even picked up on it, including a big up and coming game thats in beta right now.

accualy the eq2 people have addressed the subject of it already and have basicaly said there not going to support the keyboard because it isnt a widely used product. so what there saying is that they wount because they see the keyboard as a fad. as for the TOS it refers as no 3rd party programs working with everquest2 but in all accuality the program is working with the keyboard to display statistacal data from the eq2 program so it isnt effecting the eq2 program at all its kinda like a log file reader in a way.
