Not Exactly UI question.. but not exactly not one either!?!

Is there a way to save your keyboard/hot buton layout?

I have a specific layout for my keyboard that I like to use... and my friend likes to use a few different keys...

A simple example is I use ALT-F for my friends list but he uses the default for that key... which is the factions window.

Is there a way to save individual keyboard layouts? Is that file(s) even stored on my system? Because the keyboard layout seems to translate to whatever computer I am on when I load up a particular character.

Any help would be appreciated =)

I believe the keyboard layout settings is client-based (within the game options itself) on the machine the game is played on. There is no separate file keeping the settings.

Keymaps are stored on the server by default (except for the default ones)

/save_keymaps <file>
Saves as <EQ2>\keyboards\<file>

/load_keymaps <file>
Loads the keymap file

The hotbar layouts can be saved/loaded too:
/savehotkeys <file>
/loadhotkeys <file>

You can then load your saved hotbutton files (haven't tried keymaps, but I don't see why not) into a text editor. For hotbuttons, these files only change what's in them. Anything existing is left alone.
