Weapon tooltips...?
 

I keep seeing sites with linked items that say "Your damage" followed by a line with the "Base damage".......example:





Is there a mod that accomplishes this or am I just missing something simple that's already in game?

thats just part of the default UI.

Very odd, mine doesn't show that.

I checked and I don't have anything in tooltips turned off.....are you sure?

yup. Do you have a eq2ui_inspect_*.xml files in you mod? You could have old files.

This option might only appear if you are not ready to use it (because of level), because it doesnt appear in mine too, though I no longer have red weapon with me at lvl 70 (and have default ui).

The "your damage" line was removed from the game some LU's ago. Those are old screenshots.

Unfortunately it cannot be modded back in.

That is an old EQ2 image. EQ2 weapons used to get more powerfull as you leveled up, and your skill level would determine weather or not you could equip it. Thus, it would show your damage and what level you were.
