PVP Tracking Window with FindIt Button... see inside

We are a nice group of players using the PVP server as our new way of playing EQ2...

Recently, i discovered my tracking scouts friends are having a hard time to track players and type the /who command with the name they track to find if the player is on our side or the opposition....

So basicly, here's what the tracker do:

Tracks a player, when he sees a player name with a con of the right color, he types fast a /who playername to see if he gets a response... if he gets a response like PlayerName - Level - Class... etc... then the player is on our side, if he gets nothing, the player is the opposite city and we hunt him down...

But on crowded areas, like COmmonlands and Antonica, there can be anything like 20 to 50 players on track, and thus, it gets long to type the /who on every target you track...

It would be nice to get a mod on the tracking window that could include a "FindIt" button (A la FetishExchange 6.3 in the market window, when you target one of your vault items, you can find it in the market window) that could do a /who playername of the player you have targeted...

Anyone could do this? Maybe Zonx could, since he already succesfully did a findit button on his FetishExchange6.3

Thanks

Bump, no one find this useful? Nor no one wants to do such a mod?

I've been trying with no luck to do this. The trouble is the list of things being tracked is listed in a table and there isn't any usable data I can find to pull from the table to allow this.

The only thing of any use ( not really useful though) is selectedrow. There isn't a way that I know of or have been able to figure out to use that data to pull data from the data container. I've tried to index the container using that data in C++, VB and pascal style with out any luck.

I've tried to pull data from the table useing selectedrow.text, selecteditem.text table.text with no luck.

So I have dropped it, maybe some one like *cough* mr SOE can give us some insight on getting info from tables.

You and me both. I don't play scouts, sometimes I wish my guardian had a hide-from-track ability. :D
