The Perfect Minimalistic UI

*for those who are playing Oblivion*

SOMEHOW this afternoon I was able to break the spell Oblivion had over me ( at least till I load it again after posting this ), and I started to wonder, would it be possible to replicate the TES:4 Interface for EQ2? I plan to work on this myself.. once of course I get off Oblivion more... maybe that should be an 'if'.

anyhow soon I will be posting data on it here if anyone wants to help give ideas towards it's replication please post here.. or course make it :-)..

~presses Oblivion icon~

if you press ~ to open the console type HELP to bring up a list of commands and then doubleclick on one of them it'll print the memory address of that command at the top of the secreen.

this is a sample of the stats window and the UI when no windows are open.

will post more soon

~EDIT~ adding the map ( I don't think it can be replicated ) and the completed section of the journal.

There are many more layers to things like the map, the example of the map is the "local area" you can zoomout and see the world area after that. The map button ( compass ) also contains the three quest journals, Completed, Active, Inactive.

funny, i'm working on an oblivion inspired UI right now ^^

i don't really want to copy it, but the simplicity is amazing and inspiring.

attached some first attempts on player and target windows.
