How can I disable the new infocenter
 

I prefer the old left/right version. or at least a fully collapsed vs open new up/down version. unclicking/deleting and reinstalling didnt fix it.

Does anyone know how to get the old left/right column quest window back?

I'm not a user of ThorUI, but I *am* the creator of the info center.

Since the info center and the quest window are two entirely different things, I'm not at all sure what the point of your question is. Disabling the info center won't have any impact on the quest window.

The infocenter selection includes the quest journal mod.
As with all features within the thorui au you simply need to deselect the feature then delete the thorui folder in the everquest ii\ui directory then relaunch the updater.

I have deselected, deleted and reinstalled many times. In fact the infocenter file is not in my thorui directory. Outside of not using Thor at all, there seems to be no way to revert to the old left/right column quest window.

Any ideas?

It sounds like they are telling you to delete / reinstall the journals.journal window (?)

I have deleted and reinstalled EVERYTHING with the journal/infocenter "unclicked" :)
It seems that once you install the new journal, you can not get rid of it.

I wonder if it is attached to some other mod?

I wouldn't mind the new over/under thing so much if it didn't default to all quest branches being open. It takes a bit of effort to close all the open branches and get to the quest you want. Then if you zone, it pops them all open again.

Um, that sounds like the default quest journal. Certainly, I have the same problem you're describing, with no quest journal mod in place. You probably *have* disabled whatever quest journal the ThorUI would normally include.

It was the same way with it selected as well. I will try re-selecting it and delete/install.

I like to be part of the solution, but I don't know squat about coding! lol
 

I seem to be having trouble with my quest journal as well. I used to have the "info center" I think it was called... you know, where it showed the Heritage Quests and things... anyway, I really liked that. After the update (to which I wiped ThorUI completely and reinstalled) I no longer have that "infor center". Even though I have it checked.... what gives? And of course I've deleted the .xml file for it and ran the updater again, but still nothing :confused: Any thoughts?

On another note, keep up the excellent work! I still love my ThorUI. Haven't found any better! :nana:
