Changes today
 

As stated in the Auto Updater info page, I've applied some major updates today and I recommend everyone backup then delete your ThorUI folder within your EverQuest II\UI directory then relaunch the ThorUI AU.

If you have everything setup as recommended, you will recieve all updates to the ThorUI and the EQ2Map automatically.

If you don't check the instructions "sticky" post above this thread.

Updates include but are not limited to:
Persona Window
Help Window (No longer modified)
Skills Window (No longer modified)
Quest Journal (Moddifications limited to vertical grouping)
InfoCenter (all previous enhancements from the help and quest journal)
Notes (Has it's own window to reduce updates required. Added news section)
Tracking Window
Tradeskill Window
Market/Broker Window
StartButton
1024x768 Window Placements file
etc...

InfoCenter and new Notes window are available by using my enhanced startbutton mod. There are buttons for each.
Also note: since these are new features, you will need to select them in the advanced options screen within the ThorUI AU. (See instructions for more details)
Otherwise you may type or make hotkeys for the following:
/show_window Journals.ThorUIInfoCenter
and
/show_window Journals.Notes

With so many using the ThorUI AU it is inevitable that some will not like some of the changes. As always if you don't like an "enhancement" you may simply deselect the feature in the Advanced Options section then delete the thorui folder and relaunch the updater. All in the instructions section...

Used auto updater to download info center feature, but after logging in it's not clear where or if the info center is available. I'm assuming I should just check and run auto updater again? Deleted ThorUI folder as suggested before applying update...

I was raiding the other day and UI's were being discussed a bit. Someone suggested I try Thor UI. So tonight I did just that. I have downloaded it, installed it, ran the updater, and I do like it. It is a tad bit different than Fetish or the Undead-Gothic I was using. You mention an Advanced Option Menu or some such thing in your last post. How do I access this?
Also, are these new changes you just added that you mentioned LU 19 compatible? I think so, as I was looking at the Persona window and noticing some things that didnt used to be in such a window.
Congrats on a very usable interface guy. Nice work.
Oh yeah, one other question before I head off to sleep.
Can I add in other mods by other authors to this UI? Or will they be overwritten when I run the updater again?

You may access the "Advanced Options" by canceling the update and choosing "Options" from the top left selection of the ThorUI AU.

Once there chose the "Features" tab and go through the list of available features. (Note the "..." button next to each feature. This can be used to get more details about the feature.) Bare in mind that when I have so many updates these tend to get behind since I need to take screen shots and so forth to update them all.

All changes are LU19 compatible.
I do my best to ensure the ThorUI AU is updated prior to any LU changes so everyone has the new files ahead of time. Sometimes an update to a file can't be made available until after the LU has taken place and that's why we're made the Auto Updater available for use with the ThorUI.

The ThorUI is kept "User and UI Modder Friendly) this means you can indeed add mods done by other authors to the thorui folder without fear of something not working or getting overwritten. (Note the option to "Do not update is local file it newer" option within the "Advanced Options" section.

is there away you can put an exit button for the isle speech ?

I second both parts of this message. I just came back after being away for a while, and was disappointed to see that the slider version of the start button is missing.
