Anti-Aliasing

How do I allow this to be turned on while using ThorUI? When not using ThorUI I create te eq2.ini file and add r_aa_blit 1. ThorUI overwrites this file when it updates and overwrites the eq2.ini file.

I don't know if it will work or not, but have you tried editing the eq2.ini file that the updater pulls with that particular line? If it does the job, make sure you mark the updater properly so it doesn't overwrite newer files (Options>>Advanced>>Do Not Update if local file is newer).

I'm going to resurrect this because it "breaks" EQ2Map if you set EQ2.ini to read only. Is there any way to tell EQ2Map to either stop editing eq2.ini (because it doesn't need to, it never changes anything inside of it anyway) or to tell it to write eq2.ini a certain way? Thanks.

Check the box in ThorUI that states "Do not update newer files"

Any ideas on my post?

EQ2MAP will only attempt to overwrite the eq2.ini file if you have EQ2MAP installed outside of your custom UI folder and run the EQ2MAP Patcher. To avoid this just make sure that EQ2MAP is installed inside of any custom UI folder that you have created.

FYI: setting the eq2.ini file to read only doesn't help since the EQ2 Patcher will see the read only tag and assume that the file needs to be replaced with the default. This is what is more than likely causing your problem.
