NPC Merchant and/or Recipe Book Search

I am hoping for a filter for NPC merchants and/or Recipe Book.

When I am tradeskilling and have to purchase things from the vendor in Tradeskill Instance or when I want to make a specific recipe from recipe book I end up doing a lot of scrolling to get what I want.

What I am really hoping for is something like the text bar when you go to visit someone's Inn Room and you start to type in their name and it filters out all the people's names that dont match.

A type in and press "Search" option similar to broker would be a decent second choice.

I dont know if this is something that can be done, but I would love to cut down on my scrolling time.

I know ThorUI has filters for the recipe book as an extra option included with the UI (not actually part of the recipe book itself, just an add-on for it).

As for the merchant filter....I, too, would like to see this added.

However, I'm thinking something like this will need to be implemented by SOE. If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest /feedbacking the idea. Perhaps we will see it in the future if enough people follow in your footsteps.

I've been wishing for the same thing, and I will /feedback it too, and ask other ppl to do so.

Laz is correct. It is not possible for a UI mod to add this.

Oh, well, that is too bad :(

Thank you for the response though! I will /feedback it tonight.

eq2 needs some form of interpreter script language with an api added ;)

Tradeskill blues

I am building a decent tradeskill mod that has an "always on" reciepe book. I am hoping I can add the filters you request to the tradeskill window. If you get any ideas post them here and I will keep an eye on it.

Good news for all of us, Sony is starting to add this - in LU19, recipe books will have a search function.
