saving/sharing interfaces
 

I don't currently use a custom interface from this site. I *do* have my own custom components and screen layout that I'm comfortable with, though. What I'd like to know is whether it's possible to share these changes between my alts so I don't have to keep adjusting the screen for every new character that I create? I searched, but didn't see any mod for this. Is it just a simple matter of copying some files around?

yeah just take the ini file called "server_charname_eq2_uisettings.ini" just make a copy of the cher gui u like and rename it to match one of your other chars.

Forget about copying you char uisetting file. Look in your eq2_recent.ini file and search for cl_uisettings_file. Once you find that change what ever its set to, to what ever ui settings file you want to use for all characters. Then delete all uisetting files but the one you used in conjunction with that command. Now when you log on you alts it will auto copy that file to use as theirs, it will do the same for any new characters you make also.
