Only basic map showing
 

This happened to me the last time the devs added something to the map, and it's happened again.

All I see is a basic map, without even the red target circles for where I'm going (which were a nice addition and I miss it).

Is there a way to temporarily disable EQ2Map?

Try logging out and run the auto updater again, make sure you have your correct folder selected in the interface. I am running mine just fine and just downloaded it few days ago.

Nothing has helped. I've been playing without these features for about a month now (though I play only about a day a week). Deleted specific files and used "Re-Download All Files" without help.

Edit:

I changed the map UI in eq2.ini to the default, then returned it to EQ2MAP, and now things work well. Wonders of the world. :)
