Auto Tradeskilling?

I started playin EQ2 not long after it first came out but gave up after a while. Now im getting back into it and looking at tradeskills.
When i was playing before there were a couple auto-tradeskilling UI's that you could basically set up how many of an item and what quality you wanted and hit go. It would then automatically counter, increase productivity etc.

I haven't been able to find any of those so i'm wondering if sony outlawed these? or if they are available still and im just to dumb to know where to look :p

Yes they are outlawed so to speak and have always been.

Shame on us if we have to earn our way through xp!
Why play a game when you can have it play for you!

Now seriously, come on. I'm not pointing fingers, and I'm not gonna go on a long rant, but why? Why even ask? There's no point to a game like this, that plays it self.

i just find that after making the 497,000th temper/wash etc it gets just a teeeensy bit repetitive and boring :b
the auto-counters were just a nicetie, i mainly want to be able to queue up a ton of simple items like tempers without having to sit there and click "repeat" "start" "repeat" "start"......

Heh, I give you a tip, always try to make a a pristine from all of non-trivial recipes. For example I have an alchemist, and always when I get a lvl, I go and buy a alchemist essentials book for this new lvl. Now I then start to make inks for the new app4 spells I got for that book. Doing all those new app4 spells yields great deal of tradeskill experience.

Point is, you don't _need to_ (=shouldn't do) always the same darn recipe, just make sure that you do non-trivial recipes till you get pristine as a result. Proceed to the next item..

im not worried about xp, its jsut the tediousness of making a ton of non-primary items...ie i wanted to make myself a bunch of elm strongboxes today, to do that i have to make a bunch of tin bars, then the studs, then the sheets....all of these were easy items that even without countering shouldnt fail so it would be nice to just queue them up and watch some tv while they get made.

I have no problem with gaining xp the hard way, its just boring tedious work for easy items that annoy me :p

So pay someone else to make all your subcombines.

Nope, there were never any automated tradeskill windows here.

Someone uploaded a skin for a third-party program that required the window not be moveable once, but we took that down even though it was harmless by itself. (Why you'd want skinned windows on a bot machine is beyond me.)

There are a number of mods that activate the Start and Repeat buttons with a keypress, but they're not automatic.
