Guardian UI or tank in general.

Hi, i been trying out many UIs but never found anyone for my needs, i play Guardian and most UI well thay dont got what i'm looking for,

for me in a UI its very important to see the groups healths and need to be seen very clearly if any member is taking taking anykinds of damage, even if its like 1% of thair health each min just as an example but want it to be showen realy well. many prefer the small group and raid windows sure idont mind the size of tham jsut want tham to be easy to see if any member is taking anykind of damage,

Secone thing i'm looking for is a target window i realy miss the old EQ1 target wth with the HoTT(health of targets target leader points) those were realy nice that thay was together, dont know if thats possible in EQ2, but heck might as well ask. :D

Raid window i just want a good one, not been in so many raids but allways nice to have a good raid window.

also merchant windows and broker window i tryed very many thats been great with find item that you want to see prices on before you set yuor own prices and stuff like that, but not seen any in some time now. if i download and try an old version thay normaly dont work :(

And very importants for me is to see my own health bar, so i know whane to panic or not

thats about what i'm looking for want it kinda simple realy just the basic stuff. just to sum it up
Target window, Targets target window, group window, merchant window. and raid allways nice (but very unsure on that front)

thats about it, so if you are making anything cool UI for tanking or know some good ones(not to mutch stats windows and stuff i want to see a lot and not having the UI cover half of my screen) so please post something and thanks for your time for reading this.

I to am a guard and use to raid a lot but am kind of burt out atm. I made extreme for my needs as a tank. Yea its a full HUD but thats my taest and might not be yours. the HOTT is configured ontop of the target and I also put in a 3rd heath window that I can set to any group member so I can keep an eye on them closer ( mainly the primary healer ). If you want give it a spin it comes with a full installer so its no sweat to get it up and going and if you dont' like, the uninstaller will put u back to default with just as quick, evern restting you old ui settings back to the way they where. It comes with a control panel so you set up the ingame notes and quicklog button.. There is more to come to the control panel as its just at beat 1 now.

i have tryed that UI one time a very nice but the things i dont like with its well first to mutch windows hehe =) and that for htat UI to look good and not have a window and stuff in the middle of the screen (just as an example)
you have to run the layout as the ones its constucted for.

I most have my chat windows in the upper half of the screen, to save some extra space, i use one small chat winodw to filet guild/tell/group/raid
and 2 others to filter the rest, thay got a very low backround so i can easy see throu tham.

the target window and hott are cool but dont like the edgets ands almost to long.

group window is ok small simplet and very effectiv.

and love the 3th healt meter very cool gadget just dont like the numbers on tham, and the layout realy think it was to big hehe, yes i said i wanted big stuff but still not to big hehe =)

other than that i think your UI is great. but i tought i would lose my hearing first time i installed it, the sound as you start the installation gets very high at the end.

but in short not realy what i'm looking for.

Would it be possible to have objects for the name/health of each raid member, that looked for a negative change in health and flashed the name bright red for a second or two if their health dropped?

That way you'd see directly where people were losing health... though you'd be confused at times by effects that drain a player's own health like when using Conjuror Shards and other health -> power tools for example.

Still it might be useful... just an idea. :)

It would be cool, but we'd need the possibility of more indept scripting. If you could record variables, and constantly update them, and then check to see if someone's health dropped... say 20%, and then have a way to make their name flash when it happens, then it would be possible.

Otherwise..... I think not :p (Unless it was hardcoded in of course)

this should be possible. a one-time flashing animation linked to the onchange event of the health bar.
