Few questions
Hello there,
Few questions... I there a way to have an XP bar window really resizing because mine isn't really resizing. Another question is : can I use EQMap with Thor UI ?. |
If you use the slim version it can be resized. (Just be sure to unlock it)
EQ2Map can absolutely be used with the ThorUI AU I wouldn't play without it... Simply setup ThorUI AU to launch EQ2Map when it's finished checking for updates. Then have EQ2Map launch the game once it's finished checking for updates. ;) |
Another question... When I target a friend, I don't get his own target displayed anywhere... is that a bug into UI ?
|
Your implied target window only opens if you taget a group member that has a target.
But yes it should work. If for some reason it isn't working for you, press alt-T to find your target windows. Your implied target window could be offscreen. As always I recommend using my preset window placements files. ;) |
Thanks.
I just looked into XP windows because it's reduced by your preset ... And for target it's ok, thank you for your really quick answers. |
voice audio settings
I love the voices in the chat window, yet they come across as too low in volume to be heard much at all. Using headphones and team members hardly ever hear my voice selections, certainly never during a battle. Using teamspeak and it comes across as too loud usually vs the battle noises. I have music turned off.
Any suggestions?? |
If I remember it correctly, you can set your audio-options in-game to play from first-person or third-person direction.
Let's see if I can elaborate on that... If you're using third-person view (as probably 99% of the playerbase except me does) every sound-effect would be played in your headphones as if you were really where your "avatar" is in the game world. OR! If your audio-settings are set the other way around the sounds would play as if your headphones are placed where the "camera" is. Easiest way to find out is to zoom out all the way you can and start running. Listen to your own steps. Now zoom in into first-person view. If the sounds of your steps increased in volume you have set your audio-options wrong and should select or deselect (whichever is appropriate) this setting in the in-game audio options tab. I don't remember which setting is used by default but I'm personally using the one which enables me to hear everything up loud in 3rd-person view (which I use in combat). I hope you understand what the he*k I'm talking about and that you find the above helpful ;) |
