Little off topic but...

Hi all,
As some of you know I recently decided to finally go through with having my eyes sliced then diced with lasers (Laser corrective eye surgery).

It went perfectly and I can now see as if I am using contacts.
Still a little blurry after the first 24 hrs but I can tell I'm going to have near perfect vision.
I'm going to the doctor for the 24hr checkup and I'll let you know what my eyesight turns out to be...

I've worn glasses ever since I found out I couldn't see worth a crapola at age 12 (Some 23 years ago...)

I just wanted to be one of those people you could say you knew had it done in case your putting it off. (I'm glad I put it off until now as the technology is by far better than when it first came out. Better to have an auto eye tracking laser slice and dice than some physician with a knife.) ;)

If you've been putting it off, it's time to seriously reconsider. :D

grats that it all went well, but I gotta ask..

did they give you any added :see invis: or a +9 to your reflexs?
( there is no such thing as playing RPGs too much )

Had it done 4.. no 5, years ago. It is amazing to go from squinting at street signs as you drive past them to reading them 2 blocks away. lol. But sure was a panic for first 10-12 hours after, when you were convinced something had gone wrong and couldnt see s***. But next morning it's like, "So Thats what my alarm clock looks like." LOL.

Glad it went well for you.
