Is there a way to refresh the UI without logout?
 

I am trying to tweak some UI files and I would like to be able to see changes without exiting to desktop and loading the game back up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It doesnt always work for me but some people have success...

You need edit and include a eq2ui_skininfo.xml (copy it from the default folder, edit it and fill in all the fields with your skin info) in your custom folder. Then in game use the /loadui command and it should let you select your custom mod. Select it and choose load and then you'll want to cast a spell so the dynamic data is populated. Keep in mind some of your window locations will be reset and some people crash doing this. So its best to make a newbie so you don’t have to re-arrange your main characters windows all the time.
