How do you....

Ok i did a search on this but couldnt find anything i am wondering how can I if I can at akll see the info in the server_toon_EQ2_uisettings.ini??

I have everything the way i want it ingame and i want to set everything up in uibuilder to be in those locations so if someone loads the ui everything will be in its right place allready :) is this possible?

I've looked at this thing in every editor i can find and changing it at all seems to break it. I hope someone else has better luck and shares.

huh? was that a mispost if not i dont understand your response i guess.

Nope, not a mis-post. :p I'll try to clarify.

I've imported the server_toon_EQ2_uisettings.ini file into both text and hex editors. I've saved it, changed one window in eq2 and compared the two and the changes aren't logical.

I've tried adjusting the hex of the file, but when I next load eq2, i've inevitably broken the ui_settings and have to start over.

This is not to say that it can't be done, just that it's not as simple as editing a text file.

I'm hoping that someone sees whatever it is that I'm missing.

ah ok i see i am just mainly wanting to be able to view that info not change it mainly i want to see the relative locations of windows so i can imulate it in uibuilder so anyone loading the ui without a uisettings.ini will have there layout default the way i think it smore effecient rather than windows everywhere :)

This again brings up the question to why they don't have simple INI support such as EQ1. For reasons like this, it would be very handy to have.
