Login Rejected?
 

Hi I just wanted to start off saying that I enjoy using the EQ2 Map Updater it's really helped me out, but for some reason whenever I try to get on EQ2 I get and error message that says "Login Rejected:The clients version does not match the server's. Please re-run the patcher" I am not saying that this is due to the EQ2 Map Updater I just need someone to help me fix it and dont know what that error means. I can't play EQ2 until i get it fixed :(

I got the same thing. It sucks. Note, this isn't because of mods. Just the latest update.

did you check to see if the server was down?

Yep servers are down. Supposed to be up any minute now tho. Good time to tweak the UI

My log in is being rejected due to "the client's version does not match the server's... Please rerun the patcher"

Is this some how related to the map interface. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? It would seem the servers are all up and running.

I am getting the same error. I am choosing to go straight to my main toon. I just uploaded a UI last night. Its really the first UI I have used, except for the eq2 map one. I am going to try logging into character select next, will let you know if it helps at all...

I just uploaded a modified version of the Fetish complete set.

I tried changing my eq2.ini file back to eq2map, also did not work. logging to character select did not work either.


....next stop, SOE boards, i guess....

Im sry if u thought i was blaming u I wasnt i just figured that since u guys had been able to put together EQ2 Map that u would know what was going on and be able to help me fix it :) im new to eq2 and i didnt realize that it was due to servers being down for an update thank you for helping though :p

yep same message try logging into toon select and got same message won't let me get into anything

So how long till servers back up. I am still getting this message.

rejected... what now? :mad:

got the same message and could only get into game by resetting to the EQ2 default ui... probably some problem cause by the morning patch pertaining to our specifice custom ui's.
