eq2.ini plz explain more
in the help guide it says to make 1 folder and stick all your mods in there but some mods i have downloaded contain there own sub-folders that have the same name as other mod's sub-folders so there is overlapping subfolders
the other thing is that having 20 .xml's in 1 common folder becomes messy becuase if i want to remove a certain mod i dont neccesarily remember the name of each mod. so is there a way to use cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP cl_ui_subdir UI/ more then once in the eq2.ini so i can organize my mods better by letting them each have thier own folder? or is their a simpler way that people oragize their dozens of mods? |
Well say you use fetish chat and fetish player window. But u download them as two files. When you extract them they will bout prob go into a fetish folder. ( just an example) There will be subfolder inside that fold for images ect.
Nope, that tells eq where to look for the ui files to display. |
No, you can not put UI pieces in separate folders and use them all.
They must be in a single folder. |
