Looking for clarification on the new *click-thru* feature

Hi

Reading the patch notes for LU15 I took it to mean that the windows which would have this new *feature* enabled were maintained, effects and group but that ALL windows were to be affected by the new frame etc. However when playing I noticed it also happens on the hotkeys and start button functions.

This is a real pain in the butt for people like me who use LeftMouse forward (it means everytime I click a CA on the hotbar I also now move forward). It also means for example; you are fighting somewhere and in the distance is another mob behind your hotbar - clicking on a CA in front means you will also SELECT that mob and deselect the one you are fighting. Not good when you are throwing distance spells.

What I need to understand at this point - is whether this "technology" for want of a better word ? is basically a server side thing that we won't be able to change OR included in the XML code for the window. I ask because I am still using Fetish Hotbars and it still happens.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place - I've been up all night and its 2pm here :D This has really screwed my game - constantly inching foward in fights or selecting another target is doin' me old head in.

There is nothing in the default XML to differentiate the main page, frame or background objects of the Hotkeys window from any other window. Also given that I made no changes to my hotkeys window to cause the click thru effect, I'm guessing this is something hardcoded by SOE we can't change.

If its not already available in game options, I'm betting SOE will add controls for this.

Thanks for your reply Zonx =) Even if I can't make the bits myself I kinda like to know why things work the way they do so I don't get any unrealistic expectations =)!

I found it annoying for some windows to move, but that could be because I'm using pre-18th files (thought mostly they still function fine).
