zoning with chat working

i think it was a very good idea to be able to keep seeing chat while zoning.
anyone can make a small update for this ? files don't seems big put i have no idea how to update them.
i've downloaded it and tryed to install it, but with no surprise i was not able to make it work, it's now a quite old thing.
