Not updating

make sure it has permission to connect to the internet from whatever firewall you ware using.

I get the same error. Just fresh installed the software. I even shut down my firewall completely and no go.

Any clues??

Ok i figured out how to make it work.. it wasnt firewall or connection related. I had to download the "manual" version and copy those files to the eq2 UI folder. Once I did that the updater worked fine.
