Adding individual Interface pieces to default UI.
I seem to be having a problem getting my individual interface pieces working with my default UI. Maybe someone here can help me out.
What I have done is to copy the extracted individual piece files into the default folder (The original one that comes with EQ2) copying over the original files. When I start up EQ2 however, all of the old interface panels are still there. My new panels are not being used. I have checked out the faqs, but they seem to only talk about installed custom mods. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks. Quiggy. |
Not completly sure about this but i think EQ2 checks its folders on startup and replaces modified ones. You have to setup a new custom folder below the UI Folder and extract your files there. After that you have to tell EQ2 where to find your new stuff. Please check any of the custom UIs Readme how to do that.
Im not good enough to post a real HowTo here, just to give you some hints where to check and what to do. And please excuse my bad english ;) Greetings Karkoris / Slurp Valor |
Install it like the FAQ instructs. Any windows you haven't installed mods for will use the default like you want.
