I don't see any maps except Sony maps
 

Updater works fine. When I enter EQ2, I see the default maps only for major zones, but I see no maps for zones like Vermin Snye or Crypt of Betrayal. My eq2.ini file reads: cl_ui_skinname EQ2map
cl_ui_subdir ui/
cl_ui_skinname ocd
cl_ui_subdir UI/

I run the compass/clock and eq2map updater; the compass/clock works fine, but I get nothing from the official map updater version. Am i leaving out a step? In the EQ2 UI folder I have an OCD folder and a EQ2map folder.
In the OCD folder I have eq2map_config.cfg eq2map_updater.exe an images folder interop.shdocvw.dll axinterop.shdocvw.dll eq2ui_mainhud_clock.xml eq2ui_mainhud_compass.xml
In the eq2map folder I have another eq2map folder an images folder eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml

If im not mistaken, it should read

cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname ocd


and your map directory should be a subdirectory of ocd. If your using the automap updater, go into the options and set the Ui directory to OCD. That should fix it when you run the updater.

My understanding is that you can only have one custom Ui directory.

yes, just delete your eq2.ini file. open the updater, if it starts updating when you open it, click the stop button. then go to options and choose ocd as your ui directory and it will set your eq2.ini file up correctly. then just close the options window and then click update button on the updater, let it update and then open eq2 and it will work for you :)
